How fortunate are we? What could be better than Ron Moss arriving at your door? We welcomed him today, along with our amazing friend kris moon, from Japan, creating a confluence of fine creative spirits in our home! Ron is a renowned image maker and poet from Tasmania”. He sees his work as contemplative, and focuses on “moments of stillness in our busy world”. Warm, friendly and relaxed in our Living Room Gallery, he instantly set to work giving me some Haiga for the digital art show I have been collecting, and we enjoyed Japanese tea and good spirits with him and Linda Galloway, his partner in performance at Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena, 2 PM tomorrow Sunday, August 11. Rick Wilson will accompany on shinobue and shakuhachi. Kathabela will improvise with Japanese drum, wooden frog, and a few preluding tanka.
We look forward to tomorrow’s program, honored to perform with these fine poets. The level of bliss seems to be rising here every day. It is hard to imagine how much more intense and full the experience of the HNA conference will be!
